Loose

Rock

Weak

A weak player is often tight although not quite as tight as the rock players. The difference with the weak player is that they play more pots, but they also get scared in big pots. Weak players are scared of action and losing too much money in a hand and they often fold to big bets or raises. This type of style isn’t good for you at all as you’ll lose money by calling bets to the flop and then folding to big bets. These losses add up and in no time you would be out of a bankroll.

Tight

A tight pkr.com player is the perfect player in Texas Holdem to be categorized under. This player doesn’t play many hands, but they play enough that opponents aren’t scared when there in a pot. This player also isn’t scared of splashing chips around when they have a premium hand and they also don’t back down. They make there money by winning a few big hands everyday and that is all they do. It’s the safest and most profitable playing style out there, so if you’re playing poker to make some money then become this player.
